\r\n\r\nIt was founded in 1806, from the installation of the oldest beef processing plant in South America.\r\nSurrounded by a beautiful natural setting, its houses preserve the physiognomy of the mid-nineteenth century. Among them are La Casona de los Cuatro Vientos (1862), the Pulper\u00eda (1860) and the Santa Ana Chapel (1886), contemporary of the Bas\u00edlica Nuestra Se\u00f1ora del Rosario y San Benito de Palermo, located in the city of Paysand\u00fa.\r\nIn February 2015, the first edition of the Fiesta del Reencuentro y la Vaca took place here, where the first monument to the emblematic animal in the country was inaugurated, and three time capsules were closed.
