Creole horses and special vehicles of the mining company offer a picturesque contrast of tradition and modernity.

On the main Dr. Davison Avenue, along the whole extension of the central stone masonry, it is possible to appreciate diverse vestiges of the mining activity during the XIX century in the zone.

The beauty of the Miriñaque and Vigilante hills also call the visitor's attention. On its summit it is possible to appreciate varieties of dwarf palm trees, unique in the region.

The galleries of old mining extractions are found on the banks of the Corrales stream. The fresh humidity, the darkness of the environment, will allow you to imagine the hard life of the miner of the past.
Minas del Corrales also has the Gold Museum, a space dedicated to the exhibition of the extraction process and the history of its founder Don Tito Pereira.

Don't miss out!

Cuñapirú Dam Ruins

An unusual undertaking for this country, construction began in 1866 by the Asturian engineer Clemente Barrial, who envisioned a great mining industry and fervently believed in the gold dream.

Gold Museum

A space dedicated to the extraction process, its value and the history of its founder, Don Tito Pereira.

Miriñaque and Vigilante Hills

On its summit it is possible to appreciate unique varieties of dwarf palm trees.
