Eladio Dieste and carried out by the company Dieste Monta\u00f1ez, a company that the famous engineer founded together with his partner Eugenio Monta\u00f1ez in the 1950s.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"mas-visitados clearfix\">\r\n<figure><img class=\"circular-img\" src=\"https:\/\/uruguaynatural.com\/images\/destinos-destacados\/obelisco.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<h4>Las Piedras Obselisk<\/h4>\r\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"es-UY\">On May 25, 1911 this monument was inaugurated as a tribute to the centenary of the Battle of Las Piedras. The work was made by the sculptor Juan Manuel Ferrari. An image of the Victory in bronze shines in the superior part of the monument. In the surroundings of the monument is the Artigas Park, located in the place where the emblematic battle would have happened.<\/p>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"mas-visitados clearfix\">\r\n<figure><img class=\"circular-img\" src=\"https:\/\/uruguaynatural.com\/images\/destinos-destacados\/sosa.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<h4>Julio Sosa Museum<\/h4>\r\nIt was created as a tribute to the \"Man of Tango\" born in Las Piedras.
