Along its 2 kilometers of extension, the promenade is decorated with sculptures and a great diversity of native trees.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"mas-visitados clearfix\">\r\n<figure><img class=\"circular-img\" src=\"https:\/\/uruguaynatural.com\/images\/destinos-destacados\/Frente_castillo_Mau\u00e1.JPG\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<h4>Mau\u00e1 Castle<\/h4>\r\nThis historic palace was built by Baron de Mau\u00e1 between 1857 and 1862, by the famous Brazilian banker who had several ventures in Uruguay. The first floor houses the Alejandro Berro Paleontological Museum, while the upper floor houses a very attractive art gallery.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"mas-visitados clearfix\">\r\n<figure><img class=\"circular-img\" src=\"https:\/\/uruguaynatural.com\/images\/destinos-destacados\/montevideo-pocitos.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<h4>Municipal Theater<\/h4>\r\nIt is one of the main theaters in the interior of Uruguay, inaugurated in 1857. After a fire in 1938, it was completely restored and reopened in 2009, maintaining its classic charm but with the most advanced equipment.
