Sculpture Walk<\/h4>\r\nAll along the waterfront, works created in the International Sculpture Biennial Meeting, which has several editions, are exhibited. The sculpture walk began in the framework of the International Sculptors Biennial of the Liga de Fomento de Canelones, which has been held since 2000 with the aim of promoting the aesthetic and functional development of the seaside resort.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n

Former hotel La Floresta<\/h4>\r\nLocated at the end of the avenue Treinta y Tres<\/a>, on the promenade, it is one of the most iconic buildings of the department. In front there is a large area with benches and gazebos to watch the sunset. The \"descent of the hotel\" is the most crowded point of the beach. It is the first hotel of the spa. It opened its doors on December 27, 1914. For that time, the railroad that was joining Montevideo with Maldonado began to stop in the station Mosquitos, next to this nascent spa, to bring excursionists. Eladio Dieste Water Tank<\/h4>\r\nLocated just 200 meters south of the Interbalnearia route, hidden among the lush trees that characterize the Las Vegas resort, on the banks of the Arroyo Solis Chico is this work of Eladio Dieste.
