Several alternatives to visit the Anglo Museum in Fray Bentos

One of the activities in the city of Fray Bentos, in the center of the country, is discovering the place where the Industrial Revolution peaked in the Río de la Plata. If you like history, you cannot miss the Museum of the Industrial Revolution - Former Anglo Slaughter House and Packing Plant, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2015.

The establishment was known as "the kitchen of the world", for the leading role it played in the manufacturing of corned beef that was used to feed the soldiers during the main wars of the 20th century.
There are several alternatives to enjoy its rich historical heritage from guided tours to bike tours. Do not miss it!

1) Access to the Museum of the Industrial Revolution Exhibition Room

2) Visits to Casa Grande
Days: Saturday, Sunday and holidays
Hours: 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

3) Guided tours of the Manufacturing Plant
Days: Tuesday to Sunday
Hours: 10am and 5:30pm
Tickets: $ 120
Free admission: children under 10 and former workers.

4) Bike tours through the Anglo neighborhood
Previously arranged, they are available from 11am to 2pm
